This is a full volunteer effort dedicated to supporting local nonprofits and individuals in need. The tournament is a submission-only, round-robin format (minus white belt kids, which is all points) and we offer cash prizes for the winners of the adult absolute division.

Our Absolute Division brings together competitors of all belt levels and weight classes in one exciting bracket. Whether you're a lightweight white belt, a heavyweight blue belt, or an experienced upper belt, everyone has the opportunity to test their technique against a diverse field of opponents.

This division celebrates one of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu's core principles: that leverage, timing, and technique can overcome strength and size. Expect exciting matchups, challenging competition, and the chance to see how your Jiu-Jitsu stacks up against athletes from every background.

The tournament is brought to you by Take the Back BJJ & Self Defense, a nonprofit whose goal is to provide affordable jiu jitsu training to women in the Greater Seattle area.
